Why Boardroom AI became KAIRO

Boardroom AI was a feature name — it described one room in the building. KAIRO names the whole operating system.

The rename forced three decisions that shaped everything since:

1. Platform over product. 460+ tools only make sense under an OS identity, not a point-solution brand.
2. Operators over executives. Boardroom spoke to a title. KAIRO speaks to the person actually running the motion.
3. A house for the brand to live in. The rename is also why E.L.L.A became a mother company — ventures need a home that is owned, not rented.
